Default Obstruction of Justice or Misconduct in Office?

Who is the State Legislator who got involved in this case and why is that Legislator not being investigated for Obstruction of Justice or Misconduct in Office?

People that are trying very hard to do a job should not be interfered with doing that job by any politician who results to destroying ones career or placing so much polictical pressure on department heads to make a choice between their job or the employee's job when they are ask to do wrong or look the other way because of fear of this Legislator interference with this investigator's investigation.

This kind of actions have gone on way too long and will continue to go on until more people like Investigator Christopher Phillips stands up against the people who caused this to happen.

Supervisor's, Department Heads, and the State Senator who interfered with Mr. Phillips' investigation needs to be investigated and even charged with OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE or MISCONDUCT IN OFFICE if what this investigator is swearing to be the truth!!!!!

To: Christopher Phillips

You are not the only one this has happened to. Find those people that have been done the way you have been done and you will see a pattern of the same actions that will lead you to the one person that continues to abuse their power in ways like this.

Default Who is the Senator????

Can someone tell me who the State Senator is that interfered with this DHEC's Investigator's case? Is it a Lexington County Senator? I hope that it is the one that I am thinking of!!! It is way over due for that Senator to get what he deserves.

If law enforcement will not investigate the Senator who possibly Obstructed Justice by doing what he has to this DHEC investigator, then it is time our Governor step in and do something that will prevent Senators, like the one I believe it is, who has a history of this kind of doing to protect people like Christopher Phillips and many others who have been on the receiving end of this Senator's misuse of power and Obstructing Justice for his and/or others gain. It maybe just fine for some people to sit back and allow this to happen, but it is wrong!!! It is very wrong to Obstruct Justice for any reason!

Once this Senator has been investigated and all individuals that were involved in this case in anyway have been questioned and it is found that this Senator has not Obstructed Justice in anyway what so ever then o.k., but investigate it and investigate it right. The truth needs to be exposed if what Investigator Christopher Phillips is saying is true about a State Senator who got involved in his criminal case and Obstructioned Justice by having him removed from the case, transfered to a different postion and had his supervisor's stop him from obtaining arrest warrants for the people in this case.

I was wondering where that stuff got to.

Do you think there'll be an asbestos festival this year?

well well well.... it will be interesting to see how Joe Philips, the mayor and ex administrator wiggle out of this one.

Gee I wonder how Nucor feels about being involved with this? Do you think a new community center will ever get built???

If they had an asbestos festival how many lawyers would attend. Perhaps we could get a commitment from them for donations to build a community center.

It should make for interesting reading in the next few weeks, because as we all know these men thought nobody could touch them. I hope all 3 of the lying scum bags get what is coming to them. Kudos to the people that would not cower down to the bullies!

I wonder if they've got any asbestos brake pads.

They sure were better than these we have now.

Why are people so quick to assume the property owner or the mayor had anything to do with this. It could be someone who is out to get the both of them. REMEMBER, innocent until PROVEN guilty.

I've heard the conspiracy theorist talk about the black helicopters but I didn't know that had black dump trucks too. They must have laoded all of that asbestos up and hauled it over to the guys property in the middle of the night.

I wonder why they didn't just burn the evidence and be done with it?

It could have avoided a nasty lawsuit.

I don't know what you're talking about, Ty. But I do know that you're right about Lexington being the "County of Revenge"! They say it goes all the way back to the old country.

Pretty spooky if you ask me.

Well, well, well. It looks like the log cabin/asbestos story is still alive and kicking.

Yes A-B, but would they have the authority to investigate if there was Obstruction of Justice in this case by a State Senator?

They could invetigate the disappearance of the asbestos and where it was stored while it was missing. The persons involved in the cover up, if there was one would be exposed by that investigation.

I would think that the public would not care who investigates this Senator as long as it is not investigated by a state agency where he would have any contacts or a vote from the Senate on their budgets or hiring of any of the directors. Anything less may allow this Senator to Obstruct Justice in his own investigation.

The Governor needs to take the lead and protect the public from this Senator's possible Misconduct while in Office and Obstruction of Justice and request that the FBI or any other Federal agencies investigate this State Senator for any improper involment he has had in this DHEC'S criminal case. If this Senator has done what this investigator says that he did, what other cases has this Senator Obstructed Justice in?

If this Senator has not done any Misconduct or Obstructed Justice in any cases, then he should want to have this cleared up and investigated throughly. However, if he resist an investigation into him Obstructing Justice or Misconduct while in Office in this DHEC'S criminal investigaton and/or any other cases, then that will tell me and the public everything we need to know about him and will provide credibility to Investigator Christopher Phillips' case.

Default Nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing

Jake Knotts???

It is appearing that Senator Jake Knotts' name keeps coming up in conversations about how he involved himself in this DHEC's criminal investigation. Could it be that he has backed himself in a box with no escape door and all that he has ever done wrong to people is about to be brought to light? All the pieces are coming together and the full picture of old Jake and his doings are coming home to haunt him.

Investigator Christopher Phillips is not the only one that he has done this way to and many are already coming together and sharing their stories with each other about how Jake has done the same to them. I would think that in addtion to all of these people getting together, they may also want to meet with Christopher Phillis' attorney, Lewis Cromer, in Columbia. I feel that attorney Lewis Cromer will be very helpful in assisting all that has been wronged by exposing this Senator who may have, well let's say, Obstructed Justice? I can only echo from others that they strongly want his involvement in any kind of cases investigated and how he has misused his position to threaten people who just want to do their job the right way or refused to do be part of his wrongs. We all see a pattern in the way he conducts himself and soon the public will see.

Careful about naming people and calling them criminal when they haven't been charged with a crime and there is only speculation that they may have committed a criminal act.

Careful? It be Senator Jake Knotts or any other Public Offical needs to be investigated along with all those department heads, supervisors, and employees that may have caused this investigator his career and Obstructed Justice in that case or any other cases!!! This whole thing has a bad smell to it. That is why those involved to include the Senator who is known to get involved in things like this needs to be investigated for their wrong and malicious doings so the truth can be revealed. Me, you, and the rest of the public needs to be protected from any Public Offical or persons that uses their positions to instill fear in the ones that don't go along with their thinking or not doing what they want done. If he has had no dealings with this case or any other criminal cases, then he should welcome an investigation by federal agencies. So thank you for your advise but that is a classic move that Jake uses alot to threaten and intimidate people from speaking openly.

LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD AND REVEALED TO THE PUBLIC!!!!!
