I happened upon this this website and read a few of the posts. Your county must hold the most bored people within the states. I suggest you start THINKING as a hobby rather than play on the website. The post that stands out the most is that of the person who feels accreditation is a manner in which to brag. Did you ever think that the Sheriff's Office may have a genuine concern for it's citizens and feels the need to provide service that is equal or comparable to agencies throughout the US? Thank God for accrediting agencies-the citizens certainly can't set the guidelines, they are too busy slamming their local authorities. The only thing worse than people who make these posts are those who choose to believe this type of self-serving, politically initiated CRAP!

Do you mean that without accrediation, the sheriff's department does not or did not follow any guidelines? We are saying this is NOTHING about accrediation that does ANYTHING for the citizens of Lexington County. It is a expensive venture that the county can not afford. There are NO HONEST numbers from the sheriff's department on how much it cost. We have seen figures from $100,00 to $500,00 a year. We NEED more duputies, not more feathers in ole jimmy's hat.

tick tick tick tick :toimonst: jimmy and the good ole boys are leaving the building.

Dear Guest,
I don't know what County you are from, but if you lived in Lexington County as long as I have you would see the dealings going on.
Lexington County is a prominent Republican County and has been a long time. We are a people that care about our County and the people who live here.
We have different ways of expressing our loyalty to the citizens that live here.
The problem with our elected officials now is that loyalty to us (Citizens) has changed over the years. Our, (some not ALL) elected officials have lost the ability to understand they work for us not for them. We pay their salaries and they want to tell us how we should act and vote.
The last great Politician in Lexington County was Floyd Spence. He stood a mile over the rest of the Delegation. He stood on his own two feet and wasn't drawn into the rest of the Lexington Big Boys.

We need more like him to make this County Great again.
No more bull headed mentality. People that care for all Citizens

This Web Site shows the people are upset and need a place to vent.

You sure can't vent to people like Knotts, Metts ,Harmon and so on. Oh you could but it would be like talking to a wall.

My way or else.

So come on Guest, listen to what people are saying it can't be all fiction.
A lot of it is facts and we need to change the direction Lexington County is going.

All the Citizens need representation not a few Good OLE BOYS.........

You know I heard the accredidation actually cost 4 to 5 million dollars. It has been reported on CNN that it is actually tied to the increase in gas prices. The accredidation people are really from Iraq and they are using the process to launder OPEC money. They have passed an accredidation standard that says "Okay Saudis, only produce 100 barrels a day". This has cut back on supply and forced prices up.

It is all because of accredidation.
