seeing this really angers me, no one ever has a good word to say about ANY county, they always think their county is better and bash the other. Well I respect all emergancy services SD EMS FD PD no matter what county or city they are from, they are all out there to help you so I think its a little insulting to say "they suck". Maybe they think you suck and wont help you when you're in a big pile up on the interstate needing to be extricated, oh go call a private ambulance service and see how that goes.

Why are you bashing private services? Have you ever worked for one? Maybe you were denied a job. Yes, alot of people think they are just GOAT toaters but if you were to really talk to the ones who have done it for years and enjoy thier jobs maybe you would understand that patient care is number one to them. There is more to it than slapping someone on a gurny and halling them to the nearest ER and dumping them and then going out and boasting about what a fine job you think you did. I will admit that there a few companies out here that I would not let near my dog. But there are at least two that I can say good stuff about. There are some of the finest paramedics and EMT's you can find at these places. Personally, if I am ever in a wreck in any of the wonderful counties that we have around here I can say with out a doubt that I hope that one of these people come to my aid. As for some of the ones working for this county or Lexington, please just call me a cab.

Well they are really really good at not passing fairly important information to their units given to them by other agencies. Lets not forget when you have somthing for them oh say on harden st (Five points area)... you know like a wreck... It takes 5 minutes arguing tring to let them in on a little secret.. If its in the city limits(no matter what it is) they may want to send someone... Hey didnt they transfer a heart attack call on shop rd to HP simply because the person said they were at the highway dept. -- No tring to dig stuff up on them... but uh--- this is our 911 answering point. by the way when did hp start handling ems calls?

who said anything about on scene? I believe i said 911 communications. Sorry to tell you the bad news but i was talking about the interagency communications before richland even drops tone to anyone. As for on the scene i've never seen any bickering. Anytime we've ever needed cola richland fireservices or cpd... the amount of professionalism is uncountable.

If you work for richland in the field... then you should understand. if you're in central... and you believe you guys are really accurate... better take a step back and re-evaluate...

Now as for a very few at central.. You guys are doing a super job and tring to get as much info as possible. Some of you that come to work counting down the time before the next check... Its time to leave and let someone else that will provide better for the citizens step in. yes i needed to drop this out because we all know that its not everyone, as a few really try.

again this is one of those times when you should read the statement and comment on what was said. Not comment on what you believe was said.
