From the WIS-TV web site...."Council member Joyce Dickerson is one of four people from Richland County going, "To me, to take a trip to Hawaii is just a small thing in terms of what we do to help other people."

Such arrogance.."To me, to take a trip (AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE) to Hawaii is just a small thing in terms of what we do to help other people."

Who the "Hell" does JOYCE DICKERSON think she is???


When "we" get our property tax bills this Fall..."we" are going to be mad as "$%&*".........and will remember Ms. Dickerson's arrogance! We need more members like Mr. Jeter..who will pay his own way!!!

"Back in Richland County, Dickerson insists this trip is not about the beach and luaus, but work. On subjects like homeland security and growth, "The location to me is irrelevant, it's what we're going to do and gleam from the conference, wherever it is located."

"That trip will cost at least $2,600 a person for three county employees. Councilman Damon Jeter is paying his own way"

The thing that struck me was Joyce Dickerson's arrogance about the trip....She "thinks" she disserves to be compensated by the taxpayers with a trip to Hawaii for "helping" our residents.....One must wonder if she thinks/takes other compensation!!!

If you think that this type of arrogance is in any way shocking, you probably haven't been to many council meetings.

Kit Smith holds work sessions for other council members to teach them how to be arrogant.

Several years ago there was an outrage when 2 Council Members went to HAWAII for a meeting. That was only $800 plus dollars.
They were defeated at the polls.

The only difference between then and now is the current crowd could care less what the taxpayers think. They do not represent the citizens, they would rather rule!
