Clerk of Court - what do you really know?

It's interesting that so many people know so much about the Clerk's office, yet do any of you work in that office or even in the Judicial Center? If you did, you would know what it is really like...
I don't like either candidate. But, I can tell you the following:
All the praise for the incumbent? Hogwash!
All the 'plans' being presented by the challenger? You have no idea what the office is truly about or the hurdles you face.

Sounds like a disgruntled employee, but one who knows how hard it is to run that office. Carrigg will face catastrophe within 6 months if elected. The office will go to h.. and her husband and county council will attain their goal of robbing the office of the federal funds allocated for child support enforcement. This will lead immediately to the loss of jobs in the clerk's office of those who are paid out of federal funds; many children getting child support will no longer receive it or, if they do it will come late and after much legal wrangling; the Sherrif will recieve $16.50 for the service of each paper to enforce child support because the special process servers paid from federal fund will lose their jobs. The entire system will be immediately set back by a dozen years when the Sherrif's office proved that they could not or would not find the dead beat parents and serve them. Interesting little coup, don't you think? By the way, just in case you didn't know it, Mrs. Carrigg has announced her intent to allow those federal funds to revert to County Council where her husband sits.
That is exactly what the coucil has wanted for years---that MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. Welcome tax payer to the newest power and money grab riding the back of the biggest CONFLICT OF INTERERST this county has witnessed in years. While these power figures now hold hands in their unholy alliance against Comerford, you can rest assured that those hands will be freed to reach into YOUR POCKETS if the good coucilman's wife gets elected. By the way, did you read Mrs Carrigg's post in this site earlier in which she said:"I am the lady to which you refer." Wow, what a cadidate!

Oops, hope you will excuse those few misspelled words--trying to type too fast---but please don't overlook the substance. And while I am at it let me call to your attention that the Carrigg campaign is one of intentional deception starting with that glamour shot of years gone by plastered on signs all over the county. It is well orchestrated and obviously well funded. Folks, you better watch your pocket books!!!

Let me go back and temper my comments just a bit by bringing to your attention, as it was last night to mine, that not all council members are involved or approve of this. Unfortunately, however, it seems that those good men, who oppose this, feel that they cannot speak out publicly about what they believe in. I issue the challenge today for those on council who are not a part of this plot to step forward and tell your constituents that you oppose it. Surely you have the backbone to do that. If you don't, you do not deserve the vote of your constituents and they need to know so.

Clerk of court, what do we really know?

He's been arrested 4 times for D.U.I.!

When he was arrested refused to take the datamaster tests that would have proved his innocence without doubt!

Was driving under suspension, in a county car, during work hours, for refusing to take those tests!

His own employees can't stand him or his antics!

In a question of character and ethics he has none!

That is all we really need to know!

Carrigg may not be the best answer, but she's a world better than what we've got!!!!!!

Remember what I said about deception? Well, here it is again--this time out right lies!!! Comerford has not been arrested 4 times for anything. He was twice arrested by the same trooper, in politically motivated arrests, on the same highway at the same time of night on the same night of the week on the same road going to his house. The trooper was laying in wait for him. The last occassion, the jury got to see a video tape of Mr. Comerford. That tape was 45 minutes long. The trooper got caught lying flat footed on the witness stand. The trooper would not put the tape into evidence. Therefore, Mr. Comerford's lawyer who had obtained a copy before trial put it into evidence.The jury saw that he was sober as the judge and returned a not guilty verdict in three minutes. If you are going to come here to post, please know what you are talking about. Also, Comerford was not driving as county car. He was driving his private car. The county does not even furnish the Clerk with a car. Factually, you are bankrupt and with those lies attack a man of great integrity who has served the peoiple of this county well. You sound like Beth Carrigg--you wouldn't know the facts if they hit you in the face.

Abe, it sounds like you might have read my earlier post in that other site, because you have it pegged exactly. Let me add that Mr. Comerford was not on county time and his drivers license were not suspended either. It is just amazing to me how some people write things in here that are just made up. Last week I said that I would be back but in the other site entitled "simply clerk of court" and I promised to bring you some more real facts and issues. It took me a while to investigate these things thoroughly but I did that because I want to make sure that I give only facts and not those red herrings I addressed earlier. Those facts and issues can be viewed shortly over in that site called THE CLERK OF COURT.

I hope that all of you can go over there later and view these tantalizing facts.
