Why is there a Mullins police car parked at a home on Calhoun St here in Dillon everyday? Strange.

Why don't you go ask instead of gossip? Strange.

Mullins varsity football coach arrested

MULLINS --
Mullins High School varsity football coach Gregory Hill turned himself in to Mullins police Wednesday morning to face a charge of disseminating harmful material to minors.
During a bond hearing at the Marion County Courthouse on Wednesday afternoon, Circuit Court Judge William H. Seals Jr. set a $35,000 bond for Hill’s release with the condition that he is not allowed near the school, school activities and not contact his accuser.
Hill was later released on bond.
According to an arrest warrant released by the State Law Enforcement Division, Hill, 29, invited a 16-year old female student into his office during school hours Aug. 24 and showed her pictures of his genitals.
Hill, who also teaches at the school, told investigators he had taken several pictures of his genitals while the female student was in his office, according to the report, and said he scrolled through images on his cellular phone and presented her with a pornographic photo of himself.
Hill, a first-year varsity coach, athletic director and a Mullins native, has been on administrative leave since Aug. 26, Marion School District 2 Superintendent Michael Lupo said in a press release issued Wednesday.
Lupo said in the release that “it is the District’s understanding that Mr. Hill has been charged with nine counts of disseminating harmful information … .”
“At this time the District does not have any further information the legal ramifications of the charges,” Lupo said in the press release. “However, I can assure you that the District takes seriously its obligation to protect and provide a safe environment for all students. Under no circumstances does the District condone or tolerate any inappropriate conduct between an employee and a student.”
Assistant coach Brian Hennecy will fill in as coach for the Auctioneers, Lupo said.
