I get laughed at because I think that whole moon landing thing was a bunch of bs. I'm open to it, but I just haven't been convinced. Yet.

Dang, I should have put that one on the list. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p47/KE4MIV/Smilies/doh2.gif
Well, they snicker at me for a few things too.

My dad went to his grave convinced that the Moon Landing was a setup, and that LBJ was actually the guy behind the JFK killing.

There seems to be a lot of JFK Conspiracy theories.
All made to seem plausible.
What a tangled web that is.
As for the moon landing, I don't think they had the capabilities to fake it back then.
Today it would be a piece of cake.

Groom Lake, and that's all I'm going to say.
That one that has always interested me.
I was concocting my own ideas before I knew of the others.

You know there are a LOT of people from the Greatest Generation and the previous one that didn't believe in the moon landing. I can understand why, I suppose.
There was a book on alien technology we recovered from the Roswell crash in 1947. I can't remember the title, but the author's name was Corso. Personally, I believe we did recover something, but I thought his book was a load of malarkey.
My parents are convinced LBJ had JFK done in. If I had to bet money on it, I'd put it on the Mafia.
There's a book called the World's 70 greatest conspiracies that is a really god read.
And if you like graphic novel type books, the Big Book of Conspiracies is pretty good.

I have read several books on JFK, RFK, the mafia, etc. and I have to totally agree with you.

Groom Lake? Care to explain... just a little?
Okay... wait... I had no idea that was another name for Area 51... interesting.

Groom Lake is supposedly where alien technology is stored and tested. There are a lot of advanced prototypes flying out of there, too.

A friend of mine was stationed at Nellis AFB for awhile.
I can't get him to talk. I've bribed him with cheesecake, red velvet cake, shrimp and grits, fire-baton twirling, everything.
I think they brainwashed the guy.
Any ideas???????? :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Geez... I'd spill my guts for shrimp & grits with a piece of cheesecake for dessert. Maybe you should try bribing him with bacon wrapped scallops.

That was it!
It really wasn't that great, as I recall, but I read it well over a decade ago. A lot of claims were pure BS and easily exposed if you knew about the developement of transistors and fiber optic.

MMMMMMMMM... I'd rather bribe myself with bacon wrapped scallops!!! Freshly broiled... lightly buttered, slightly charred...
I'd REALLY like to do some fresh roasted oysters down at Bowen's before those damn R months come back. *HINT HINT HINT HINT* (How obvious do I have to be here?????)

Here's a good one: Did the North Koreans torpedo the oil rig in the gulf?

I guess they were flush from the success of torpedoing the South Korean corvette.
