Hi everyone:
I'm considering relocating to Orangeburg, SC. The idea is go at a slower pace, looking for a lower cost of living, and a more family friendly environment. I'm currently in Albuquerque, NM. any thoughts or input on your state? thanks...robin

How much you got to spend? You want to live in the sticks or in town?

I'd suggest checking off Columbia Road going out of Orangeburg.
There are very nice homes and land out that way and you would be close to I-26 so you could be in Columbia in a half-hour for anything there.
Also, several of my family members have lived in that area for 15 years and it's both convenient and quiet.
