Anyone know what's going on with this house next to Sedgewood? It looked like it was getting a well deserved restoration, but then work seemed to stop.

Anyone have some insight as to what's going on?

Alright... fill me in a little. Are you talking about Sedgewood Golf Club (aka Sedgeweed) out in the Southeast area going towards Hopkins? Not sure what's going in out there, but I've wondered when they were going to start building further out Sumter Highway. Man that area has changed.

Yeah, the house is just west of Sedgewood Golf Course where Motley Road hits Garner's Ferry. Big old Victorian House. They were gonna make it a restaurant in the late 70s, but that plan died sometime after they'd rearranged the interior and installed new studs.

Looks like they've put on vinyl siding, new windows, and redone the front porch.Never see any lights on at night when I go by, so I guess no one has moved in yet. What's the deal?
