I was glad to see this. The whole thing about charging him was ridiculous to begin with.

Did he have help with his legal expenses?

I think they still get free legal assistance through the SC Troopers Assoc., as long as they are a member in good standing.

I think this may be a sign that the citizens of SC are fed up with criminals running free and rampant. They want police officers to be given the tools and freedom to get the criminals off of the street.

Actually, It is good to see that the people of SC are willing to stand with Police against criminals. They want them off of the street and want to make sure that the police have the means to do it. We are a conservative State and as such we do not tend to coddle criminals.

I also think that all of the politics that began this did not set well with most of our citizens. The viewed that Trooper as a pawn in someone elses high stakes game. And that is exactly what he was.

That's exactly what he was, and it was disgraceful what they did to him. Good cops deserve better than this.

Hopefully, The politicians will put an end to this witch hunt and call off this witch hunt.

However, The Black Caucus is meeting with the NAACP, this week, at their convention to discuss their next step. My guess is that they will try to keep pushing this agenda unless they get the concessions they want from SCDPS.
