Sometimes you get so sick of being forced to go out of Marion County to find the little things you like. I like calamari but I never could find calamari at any restaraunt in Marion County. I always either had to visit some restaraunt in Florence County or Horry County to find this dish.
While at T-Roy's this past Friday night, I recommended that they start serving calamari. They listened. I received word yesterday that T-Roy's was serving calamari. Last night I went to T-Roy's and tried their calamari and it was great! I highly recommend it! Kudos to T-Roy's!!! :)

You know, it is nice when places actually listen to what their customers want. It's even better when they not only do it... but do a good job at it. More places need to take note of that.

I looked at the menus for some of the places recommended on here lately, and some were definitely customer un-friendly. "No substitutes on the seafood platter!" "Credit cards not accepted!"
So I can't have what I want, and they only accept cash? I don't remember many times when I've paid for a nice meal with cash. I'm glad they published their menu on the net so I can let them get by without me. I mean I have a great admiration for good cooks, but if I'm supposed to pay for the honor of following somebody else's eccentric rules, maybe I'll just go to one of those places that serves one shrimp with multicolored sauces swirled artfully on the plate. If I'm going to be violated at a restaurant, at least let the pros do it.

Just ordinary snobbery. And a general lack of good manners.
