Let me just begin by saying that I live in the small town of Batesburg-Leesville. It is a town where everyone tends to know everyone, and rumors spread like wildfire. I have heard the rumors myself!!! As a matter of fact, I know the real estate agent we are talking about here. It is a funny thing to here that they have moved in together, because I have to ride by her house every morning, bright and early I might add, and her vehicle is in that driveway every morning. I also know what her husband drives, and his vehicle is there also. Now, I seriously doubt, that she gets up around 3 o'clock every morning from her so called beloved sheriff, and drives back to that house. It sounds to me, like we still have some bitter Harrison fans, just trying to start some rumors to try and affect the campaign. It is not going to work. Also, in case you don't know, she is on his campaign and is also his real estate agent. That means that they are probably seen together eating and campaigning. If anyone knows anything about real estate and has ever bought a house, you would know, that it is not uncommon for real estate agents to take there clients out for lunch. This is what you call trying to make the sells. Also, if you didn't know, he is a real estate investor. He buys homes, fixes them up and then sells them. So he is probably constantly buying and selling. That may be the reason they are seen together. You people don't use common sense, that is your problem. Why try and ruin the lives of others, when you have not seen this stuff with your own eyes. Didn't your parents teach you manners and morals. I guess not!! There are bigger fish to fry in this world other than a small town real estate agent and a sheriff of a county in one of fifty states. Such things as medicaid, social security, terriorism, welfare, homeless, and the judicial system. This is just the beginning of many things that need more attention and critisisim.

1. If the sheriff has left his wife and "shacked up" with another woman then you need to come with some proof and stop spreading rumors. If there was any kind of proof, it would be all over the media.The sheriff has made many enemies over the years and they would put this "proof" everywhere. This same crap has been talked forever on this board and no one has ever brought anything of value.

2. The people who were fired from the department were fired for either; screwing on the job, screwing married co-workers, or screwing co-workers wives or husbands. They weren't fired for being sinners, they were fired for putting their "******s in the payroll" as my old boss use to say.

The last time I checked this lady did not in any way shape or form work for the county and/or the department. You don't get fired for have low moral fiber. It is a well known fact that Metts is a pathologial liar who leads double lives. He HAS been hospitalized during the past 2 weeks and diagnosed with severe depression, among other things, because his wife and family have been informed of his double life. His most recent, blatant extra-marital affair has been the talk of Lexington and Batesburg-Leesville. He cannot drive a car, cannot go to the office, and is in and out of doctor's and psychiatrist's offices. His latest fiancee has broken up with him, thank God, and gone on with her life without the almighty sheriff. Good for her. She saw the light and he is left with the rumors in the community and a damaged image beyond repair.
Now he is left to finally face the music for destroying so many lives through his lies and deception!

Just this morning there was a big article (right on the front page of the Metro section) proclaiming that a number of good citizens had completed the “Citizen’s Academy” at the LCSD. Really! Locked away? That is hard to believe because he has been seen out already. Even in his "sick state" - both mentally and physically - he is out and about having lunch, going to concerts, having dinner, etc.

Just an update from the inside - it appears that the 2 latest victims of Metts infidelities are talking to each other and possibly other women from years past. These women have proof - recordings, jewelry, legal documents, written communication and much. much more from our 'ole sheriff. When it somes to covering his tracks, he is pretty stupid!
It is a fact that he had "Georgia Girl" convinced that he was legally separated and in the process of finalizing his divorce when he gave her a big engagment ring and attempted to buy that house on Peachtree Street in B-L. You know the incident where he grabbed his crotch when he didn't get his way about zoning for the house to be a bed and breakfast. That house was to be "Georgia Girl," (GG) and Jimmy's wedded home that later was to be turned into a bed and breakfast. Jim got his crotch out of whack, (no pun intended), when B-L Council would not approve the home for commericial zoning. GG found out, by talking with Metts' wife, that the 'ole sheriff was not only lying about the divorce but still living at home. That "iced her cake" and she moved on.
Then on to "B-L Real Estate Lady, B-LREL." Another promise of divorce, another house, only this time he completed the sale, moved her in, and moved himself in - part-time. He was still going back and forth between homes and families.
Got it so far, "Queen Bea?"
It seems these 2 women have "found each other," due to "Jumper Cables's" stupidity - telling B-LREL about GG. Can you even believe that kind of egotistical stupidty?? B-LREL and GG have become friends and as I understand it, are hell bent on exposing this man for his lies and hyprocrisy.

After watching his brief appearance on Greta's "On the Record," it is clear that Metts is in big trouble. His voice was weak, he kept referring to his notes - he didn't even know the name of one of the girl's - stumbling over his words and then getting her name from his notes.
It is obvious that he was propped up there to make that appearance and wasn't able to pull it off.
He looked very drawn, eyes glazed, and not in control of his thoughts. Just to look at him, he is sick and clearly depressed, maybe even demented. Certainly not the Metts we are used to seeing in front of the camera.
Thank goodness it was a brief appearance.

You are so right on! I strongly believe that action should be taken if this man if too sick to serve as sheriff. I am anxiously waiting for "GG" and "REL" to get to the "enough already" point - that will be sooner rather than later. He still calls them saying as soon as he is strong again he is leaving his wife and getting a divorce. This man is still reaching out to these women even as sick as he is. Maybe if someone talks to his wife, again, she can get him to stop calling his former mistresses and concentrate on his wife and family of 40 years. You know the incident where he grabbed his crotch when he didn't get his way about zoning for the house to be a bed and breakfast. That house was to be "Georgia Girl," (GG) and Jimmy's wedded home that later was to be turned into a bed and breakfast. Jim got his crotch out of whack, (no pun intended), when B-L Council would not approve the home for commericial zoning. GG found out, by talking with Metts' wife, that the 'ole sheriff was not only lying about the divorce but still living at home. That "iced her cake" and she moved on.
Then on to "B-L Real Estate Lady, B-LREL." Another promise of divorce, another house, only this time he completed the sale, moved her in, and moved himself in - part-time. He was still going back and forth between homes and families.
Got it so far, "Queen Bea?"
It seems these 2 women have "found each other," due to "Jumper Cables's" stupidity - telling B-LREL about GG. Can you even believe that kind of egotistical stupidty?? B-LREL and GG have become friends and as I understand it, are hell bent on exposing this man for his lies and hyprocrisy.
It's about time, ladies. Step up to the plate.

The problem here is that he has gottne up in front of everyone and swore that he was not having an affair and that he would fire anyone who was. He has demoted or fired others for doing the same thing he does.

The other problem is that he is not good to his word in anyway. The man is a backstabber. He has lied and screwed over many many many people including yourself. I do not believe anyone is passing judgement on you or the other lady. Judgement is passed on the person who has given his word, NO SWORE, that he will obey the laws as set down by the government. How can he be trusted.

I also know it to be a fact that he did stage things to look like he lived at that small bungalow at the lake. Took Georgia Girl there time after time along with her family and friends and made it look all perfect. I have seen Georgia Girl's big beautiful engagement ring, pictures of them with her family looking all family-like and cozy. I think it is incredibly tacky for you people to get on here and talk about this man's wife. Metts sold his house in Leesville. It was listed in this week's neighbors section of The State newspaper. The transfer of property section, I don't remember the person's name that he sold it to. So things must be getting pretty bad with the girlfriend, because he sold their house they had together.

Personally, I believe it! Timmy would love for Metts to step down or be removed from office so he could run for sheriff.

This current attack only started at the same time Timmy James left the county of Lexington, after destroying the sheriff's department, then screwing over the county by taking, then immediately leaving the County Administrators job.

You are correct on Metts. He is drawing a DOUBLE salary and doing absolutley nothing. His perks and benefits are beyond fair compensation. He is a corrupt politician who has scammed the county and his family for many years. Hopefully enough people now know and the truth is finally out. My point exactly. Metts wanted him in, Knotts didn't. So he didn't get the job because he WAS on the outs with Knotts. Lucas and Metts are tight, Knotts and Lucas are not. Used to be but after he as you put it "mistreated boss hogs little girl" they are not anymore.

If you are asking which one is on the outs with Lucas, it is Knott. Metts and Lucas are still tight, not as much so since metts knows Knotts is on the outs with him (Lucas), because like it has been said on here by others (Brassknuckles) Knotts runs the show and Metts plays the political game. So if Knotts don't like Lucas anymore, then Metts probably don't either.

Knotts, Lucas and Metts are still tight. I continue to see them around town together. Knotts does not have a problem with Lucas and Lucas does not have a problem with Knotts. Lucas will be reappointed to his magistrate's position whenever that time comes up and knotts will be re-elected to the Senate. O yeah, Metts will also be re-elected to Sheriff.

However, County Council might have a problem keeping their positions though. Time will tell the rest of the story.
