Lets all do what we can to support the youth in this county in a positive way. I hope to see you Saturday morning!

I am just happy to see an organization do something positive for youth for a change! More clubs and organizations should follow this example. People usually support nothing but money in this day and age! Thank God for people who care!

And another amen!

This could be a sign of the return of functioning communities. Keep it going!

The youth are the best, if not only, investment we collectively have in our future. Wisdom and logic dictate that we should wisely invest! ;-)
I approved the youth having the car wash at PRO Ambulance Service for that very reason.

I am very proud to report that the Union Baptist Youth performed very well this Saturday.
OVER $650 was raised by the youth between 8am and 3pm at the car wash sponsored by PRO Ambulance Service!!!

Like I said before, it is not about anything or anyone except the young people!

Congratulations, guys!!!

You worked hard and made it happen! I am very proud of all of the young people that participated!

I was a witness on Saturday and I was VERY impressed with the turn-out of youth and the amount of money raised. The Union Baptist Church was truly blessed by this fund-raising event!

Way to go!!! :wtg:

A lot of the time kids get in trouble because 1) of bad choices, but also 2) because there's nothing safe available for them to do. Some kids will come out of any situation all right, but some won't.

Good for this church for doing this. I bet the kids had fun.

The kids had a blast! It was written all over their faces, too. :-)

here's to the youth again! the union baptist church youth drama team, affectionately known as "the hogs" performed at west marion baptist chuch this morning and from what i understand, they were outstanding. i for one am very proud of these young people for what they are doing and what they stand for. i just hope that they will continue to do what they are doing which is stand in the gap for other young people their age and be a good example to those who might not be living like they should.keep up the good work, you guys!!!

I was there to see my son perform. I learned that "H.O.G." stands for "Hands Of God." The children perform skits using costumes, white gloves and other blacklight props, and, of course, blacklight.
The performance they put on Sunday morning was amazing!
It would literally put a tear in your eye!
By the way, props certainly need to be given to these children as they did a GREAT job!
Brad, Kent, and Rhea (Apologies if I mispelled your name) were the adults I understand put it together and we thank you for giving your time and talents to the youth.

I heard a rumor that a little fishy helped shut the church down

From what I have heard, a "little fishy" had nothing to do with it.
It appears to me that the church did itself in....
......and you are an idiot to give me such credit in this matter!
