Why do we taxpayers pay for a building that cannot be used? The last time I was in the courthouse, the steps are ropped off. The time before that, the elevator was out of other. Did we buy a piece of crap?

The new "Judicial Center" is a joke. It was opened to early and has never been up to code. Judge Westbrook seems to think it is his little castle and everyone who dares enter the building must bow to him. However, the drunk moron, Comerford feels the same way. What a quandry!!
As to the steps being roped off, this set-up is absolutely illegal. What if there is a fire?

Leave it up to County Council to cut corners that leads to a project costing more money. One day, maybe they will learn what I learned in the business world, you get what you pay for!! I have never seen any govement body waste more money trying to save money. I think it is time for a change in members or a better show of common sense.

Honestly - THINK about this situation.

Who spends the most time in the courthouse?

Now .... how does the Council and judge and administration justify the building of such an expensive monstrocity? It's "for the people" of course. Why, us poor people that have to come pay our kings' ransom in taxes each year should have a PROPER place to come dump our life savings on an annual basis so that the holier-than-thou petty officials can luxuriate in their new offices at our expense.

Is there money in the budget for our children's services? Our county services? Our emergency services? Ususally not or not enough. Why? Well - just look at the services you gave up every time you drive by the fancy new courthouse and thank your lucky stars that you can at least enjoy a grand building for a few hours while you are in court being charged with something or giving your annual dues to the "support your supreme leaders building fund" in your hard earned blood tax money.

"For the people" ...... HA....... My big ole' axx.............and too, did "The People" get to vote or choose whether or not "The people" wanted to have this waste of taxpayer money built?

Business can be conducted in a trailor in the Counties backyard as long as it doesn't raise my taxes.. Hoover works for me!

Tsk, tsk.. Sounds like you enjoy a cushy office. My point is there are better ways to spend our tax dollars. Tax payors don't care where they go to pay their taxes. We don't even like paying taxes! So, if your offended that I don't care what the building looks like TOO BAD! As far as being an idiot, gee that hurts. I'm completely wounded now. NOT!

The new courthouse is a piece of crap. We will pay two or three times what we have already paid just to get the thing up to code. We took a real haircut on this turkey. It is time to replace people.
