A little about The Rooster's Den...
The Rooster's Den is a friendly neighborhood Private Sports Club, founded in February 1992 that is dedicated to developing friendships. The Rooster's Den is also a non-profit organization & the profits and fund raisers help support many charities. They sponsor over 30 physically and mentally challenged young adults, called the PAD Club. A party for them is held once a month, and you are welcome to join them in the festivities.
The Rooster's Den is a great neighborhood bar. Yearly memberships at $5. Ask about their membership specials!
Have a great day & hope to see you all tonight!

Awesome acoustic guitar presentation, and the harmony of voices is absolutely beautiful!

Thanks, Q... I'll let them know you said that... it'll make their day. Of course, the demo would be a lot better if it had been a quickie recording session set in an open room using an $80 computer program and one microphone, but hey, beggers can't be choosers and considering... we think it came out well enough. Hopefully the "other guitarist's" finger will heal soon (she cut the tip nearly off recently) and we can get more stuff booked. I've got about 6 phone calls I need to return regarding booking, but until the stitches heal... eh... I don't think they'll be doing too much. Soon... soon...

Tell her to do what Clapton does when he cracks a callous.
Pour in a little superglue and Rock On!

Its funny you mention that because they have totally done that before. And guess what... it works!

I must say I am not a fan of "boom-boom" cars with drivers who like to "share" their music, so when I listen in the car, I usually turn the volume down or roll my tinted windows upward. Another side came out of me while I was driving and listening! I didn't mind sharing...didn't go way overboard though (wanted to), but at a stop, hey, didn't reduce the volume so much and windows remained down. Loved it! Thanx! :) Really sorry to hear about the injury. I wish her the best toward recovery! BTW, ya'll should get some CDs into some local shops! This would reach many more people (fans - hopefully, not the hair snatchin' kind), but especially those who don't get out much yet love to listen to beautiful music!

Hey... I understand BOOMING cars... I lived across the street from the ghetto carwash in West Columbia long enough to know that sound quite well. Heck... I had to finally move just to get away from the booming. Nothing like watching your knick-knacks go vibrating across your mantle due to someone thinking that the whole world wants to hear whatever it is they are listening to. But, hey, we do appreciate you "sharing" the music on a decent level!

DOGGONE IT!
I thought we had a new show being announced.
OK, while I'm here. Is the hurt finger all better and ready to rock and roll now, JD?

The finger is just about better and I think they are going to start working on some new stuff here soon. I think that "real life" got in the way there for a while as well. Also, I know they want to look into possibly adding new members into the group... possibly make it a full band at some point. They love the acoustic sound, but there's just something a little more exciting about the total package so I think they may be looking for others that might be interested in playing some. Know any musicians that might be interested? Swampfox... I heard you play a little????

I have had many nice comments about my guitar AND mandolin playing, that's true. Of course I say this in all humility.

Well, find a drummer and possibly a bass player and you guys could really jam!

Yeah, but I already sold the induction vortex generator to some nutty inventor. He rented his own 18-wheel lo-boy and picked it up just yesterday.
If I run across another one I'll keep you in mind.
