If anyone knows any areas a person may find interesting for camping, hiking or whatever please pass the info on. I am really interested in places that are said to be or are known to be haunted. I know there are many said to be, I am more interested in the known to be, thanks.:?:
If it's ghosts you're looking for, I'd head down to Charleston. Take a "Ghost Tour" and then bend the tour guide's ear afterwards for tips on haunted camps. Make sure to tip him/her! http://www.charlestonlowcountry.com/about/ghosts.html

If you are familiar with the Palmetto Trail and the Brickhouse campground just off Rt 66 not far from Joanna.. There is a foundation of an old house along with the cellar that is still intact but almost impossible to get into. Rumor has it this was an old slave house. If you set up a tent there, strange noises can always be heard....
Also near Leesville, there is an very old gravesite totally overgrown along Judge Long Road.... with a crypt grave that's been cracked open by a growing tree... Almost no one uses this road but you will always hear things moving inside the gravesites......... the question is, is it a ghost or not????????

You have to visit the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area. Caesars Head, Table Rock, Jones Gap. Awesome hiking with every skill level, cabins, primitive campsites and great views along the way.
