Harrell has master’s degrees in management and human relations and also is a graduate of the FBI’s national academy.

He is married (his wife is the Assistant Director in charge (the Director is on extrended military leave) of The Alvin S.Glenn Detention Center / Richland County Detention Cention).

You titled this thread "Conflict of Intrest" so I am not sure if you are looking for a comment on that or the man nominated to take the helm of the SCCJA. Sooo to start with I see no conflict here what so ever. As for the man... a good choice to fill the Director's position and I think he will help the SCCJA get back on its feet after SCDPS has drained the agancy for so many years, taking monies sorely needed for training and using it elsewhere.

Obviously you dont know much about Chief Harrell.....they couldnt find a better man for the job....He has integrity and experience and knowledge and nobody could do a finer job....so dont try to create controversy for a good man, he doesnt deserve it and he earned the position.

No conflict of interest there. Just like there's no conflict of interest in one spouse working at a Detention Center and the other spouse working for the Highway Patrol.
