There need to be stronger, harsher laws to punish people that harm children. I really believe that the punish should absolutely fit the crime. :mad:

Usually the firstborn is to young, inexperienced parents, ya think? It doesn't excuse the actions whatsoever.

In the old days we wouldn't trouble law enforcement over an animal like that.

Somehow they just went away on long trips and nobody ever knew where.

Simmons, a 78-year-old retired Jefferson Parish teacher, owes $15,000 on an old credit card bill. Now, a firm that bought that debt for pennies on the dollar from the bank has gone to court to take away her home.
"They're having the sheriff sell her house on May 27 so that they can get their $15 thousand and put her out on the street, if need be," said Simmons' attorney, William Cherbonnier.
