Just wanted to take a few minutes to say that Orangeburg EMS has been one of the most professional services I've worked for in quite some time. To handle the call volume you guys have with 5-6 units on the road says enough on it's own, but for those of you that do it day in and day out without complaining says even more. You should be patting yourselves on the back! I'm proud to say that I'm associated with the service you guys have there.
You guys have a lot of dedication and professionalism that will take you far in EMS. It's not always easy to see how good you have things where you are when you are directly involved in the day to day operations, but if you look around at some of the things that go on in the services around you, you will see that you guys are an awesome servive!

It is great to hear that a ems service is doing a good job. There isn't many times that ems gets a pat on the back. You guys and galls should be proud of your service and continue the good work.

Thanks for the compliments Jamie!! Orangeburg is considered a large service for the amount of calls we run for the year...but your right we are constantly running because we only use 5-6 trucks covering 1500 square miles....averaging 13,000 calls a year. We have to be strong and utilize are skills so that we can make a difference. But the advantage we have is that even though we are a "Large Service" we are a small group and we depend and rely on each other. We learn and feed off each other and when times are hard we lean on each other. We have grown into a family and have developed loyalty to each other and our service. Most who come here with the mentality to do thier best, willing to learn off others as well as teach what they know...fit right in....you have found a new home and family.....but Jamie you already know this....Thanks!

Thanks to Orangeburg EMS for letting me assist with the ITLS course the other day. I'm going to try to schedule some ride time with you guys. I had a good time hanging out with you and I even learned the correct way to put on a traction splint. :) Thank you to the elder paramedics for helping out us young folks.
Hope to see you guys soon.
