I heard that Harrison officially signed the paperwork today to be on the Republican ballot for Sheriff of Lexington County.

I guess all the huffing and puffing Metts and his boy toys were doing to discredit Harrison by saying he would not follow through is exactly that. A lot of Huffing and puffing from blow hards.

Harrison is running for Sheriff and Lord willing, the changing of the guards cannot happen soon enough. June 8th is right around the corner. Harrison has stood by his promises and is definatley following through with this committment.

I think it's time that we as citizens and voters of Lexington County do our jobs and follow through for Harrison. We need to rally together and show up at the polls in masses and get Metts the hell out of our County. It's time we took it back from him and we the Citizens were in the drivers seat. We are, as long as we vote Harrison for Sheriff on June 8th. Let our voices be heard loud and clear!!!

The reign of Jimmy Metts has long been over. We need a good Sheriff, a loyal Sheriff, a Peoples Sheriff. We need Harrison in that office and on our streets.

Lets start getting hold of Harrison and getting his signage, his flyers and find out where he is going to be in our community and be there supporting him and rallying behind him to get into our County and clean up the mess Metts and James have been making of our Community and our tax dollars.

Let's rock and roll voters... It's our turn to put up or shut up! I for one am in!! ;-)

What is that annoying noise? Can’t you hear it? There it goes again. It sounds like a rusty saw going back and forth. Hold on! I recognize that racket. That’s old Jimmy the Crotch catching a few Zs in his office. Of course, now that he is retired I guess he feels entitled to a little down time. That’s right, Jimmy has retired, or as they say in the police business, Jimmy is a ROD (retired on duty).

Jimmy the Crotch has a pretty sweet deal going now. He draws a retirement check and gets paid his full salary as Sheriff. He must have to use a wheelbarrow to get it all to the bank on payday. Here’s the good part; he doesn’t have to do a darn thing at the LCSD. The salary we pay him is like a huge bonus for doing absolutely nothing.

Let’s just look at a few highlights of his job performance over his last term in office. While not only receiving his salary as Sheriff, but his retirement check as well, what was the old Crotch Doctor up to?

When a public official over in Batesburg asked him a question he didn’t like, he grabbed his private parts and shook them (it) at her. We sure got our money’s worth on that one. Speaking of Batesburg, while Chief Oswald and a couple of his patrolmen were serving our country in Iraq, the police department was really short of help. Where was the Crotch Doctor? He was nowhere to be found when a community in Lexington County needed a hand. I guess his time is just too damn valuable to spend doing anything over there.

How could we possibly expect him to take an interest in the problems in our communities when he has so much more important matters to attend to; like teaching a bunch of kids at some college in Charleston. While our kids were getting caught up in a gang fight at Irmo High School, the Crotch Doctor was waddling around a classroom in Charleston being professorial. Why should he care? The checks are going to clear and he doesn’t have to “teach” in Lexington County.

While the Crotch Doctor is making out like a bandit, who is minding the store? None other than his hand picked protégé, little Timmy James. The Boy Wonder has, in the Crotch Doctor’s absence, made a mess of things. Well, what did you expect? Jimmy the Crotch “hand” picked him. While the Crotch Doctor was trying to find a parking place in Charleston, and Timmy was shopping for his business casual outfits, the county came up short on the number of deputies needed for the new courthouse. First it was nine, then it was five, then we really didn’t need any additional deputies at all and then Council forked over the money for five. It’s like a Chinese fire drill. While Timmy and the Crotch were trying to figure out who was supposed to be driving, morale went straight into the toilet. Don’t take my word for it, ask a deputy.

Money is real priority with the Crotch Doctor, especially when it is his. Elections cost money, but Jimmy the Crotch doesn’t think he should have to invest any of his salary, or retirement, toward his own re-election. No sir! That’s a job for the employees of the LCSD. He has better things to do with HIS money, but county employees do not. That’s why he rounded up the employees of the LCSD, in a county facility, on county time (hell, it wasn’t costing him anything was it?) and solicited money to finance his retirement job/re-election.

We need to help Larry Harrison grab Jimmy by the back of the neck, pull his face out of the county trough, and throw his worthless ass out of the Sheriff’s Office. The Crotch Doctor has shown nothing but contempt for the citizens of Lexington County and the time has come to put an end to it. Please join me in voting for Larry Harrison on June 8th.

I heard something today you guys might like to know about. Metts has the resident deputies out trying to see how many supporters he has in the respective areas. He has made it known that if he doesn't carry a certain area of the county, the resident deputy of that particular area will be unemployed. So it all boils down to this: I suck as a sheriff but you will lose your job if I lose mine because I pissed off the residents of your area. That's what I call looking out for your deputies. NOT!!

Oh let us not forget that there are some deputies, on county time, trying to find out who is posting on this web site. I also heard that a auto body company can not do anymore business with the sheriff's department, because they had a Harrison For Sheriff sign. How low can ole jimmy get? OH OH OH, listen guys! can you hear it? tick tick tick

I'll bet Harrison will hire them back and give them a raise if Jimmy looses their area. Tick...tick...tick.....

I'll add one more. I heard last night that Metts no showed to a debate against Harrison at the Womens Optimist Club being held in St. Andrews area somewhere.

I am a member of the Womens Republican Party and he no showed our meeting over a week ago and sent a deputy in his place. Metts is true to form. If you don't have the major bucks to back him, then your not worth the investment of his precious time. Harrison on the other hand, attends ALL of his functions.

I read where he attended a function at a youth sports complex opening ceremonies in Lexington County when he was running a high temperature and very ill. But, because he had previously committed to the league to speak, he did not want to let them down and came anyway.

Does anyone see the pattern here besides me? Metts MIA and Harrison always on time and committment is a priority. Theres No Doubt in my mind that Harrison is the man to Sheriff Lexington County.

Those Deputies who are being pressured and pushed around by Metts and his flunky James. They just need to ride this brief wave, because Harrison strikes me more as someone true to his word and will even out the issues within the Sheriffs Department and give his Deputies incentive and positive morale back to them. Metts should be ashamed of himself for putting that kind of pressure on our Deputies. There job is hard enough without having to add his political bull crap onto them. They are not paid or trained to serve and protect him only. And that's what I keep seeing and hearing from Metts and his campaign. ME, ME, ME!!! Lexington is a large County. There's not enough room to do the proper job that needs to be done within our Sheriffs Department and feed his ego and self righteous crap too.

 H A R R I S O N F O R S H E R R I F J U N E 8, 2 0 0 4 ! ! ! He wants the job, he knows the job and he has lived the job for a long time! We need someone who WANT'S TO BE OUR SHERIFF AND WANT'S TO BE IN OUR COMMUNITY DAILY!! NOT JUST EVERY FOUR YEARS WHEN IT'S CRUNCH TIME!! :???

People it is time that WE THE PEOPLE stand up and get ole jimmy out. It is time that WE THE PEOPLE to elect someone who gives a d___ about Lexington County and it's people.

It amazes me that jimmy thinks that Irmo and Chapin are in his back pocket. I hope that Gilbert, Gaston, Cayce, West Columbia, Pelion, and all other towns are just as upset as we are. jimmy gives us; Chapin, 2 resident deputies during election year, but as soon as it is over, we are lucky to have 1. Hollow promises is all he is good for.

If jimmy thinks that he can BLACKMAIL WE THE PEOPLE by forcing these deputies to get us out to vote for him, he is crazy. IT WAS jimmy, WHO BREAKS HIS PROMISES. IT IS jimmy WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON IN HIS OFFICE. IT IS jimmy WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW MANY DUPTIES HE NEEDS. IT IS jimmy WHO ALLOWED THE GANGS TO GET A FOOTHOLD IN OUR SCHOOL AND COUNTY. IT IS jimmy WHO FEELS HE DOES NOT NEED TO ANSWER TO THE CITIZENS. IT IS jimmy WHO DOES NOT COME TO OUR MEETING, THAT WE FEEL ARE IMPORTANT. IT IS jimmy WHO TEACHES IN CHARLESTON, INSTEADS OF SHERIFFING IN THE COUNTY WHO VOTED HIM IN. IT IS jimmy WHO HAS THE DOUBLE STANDARDS IN HIS OFFICE. AND IT IS jimmy WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MORAL PROBLEMS AMONGST THE DEPUTIES.

I for one, do not feel sorry for this man. It made his bed with lies, broken promises, and not caring for WE THE PEOPLE of Lexington County. jimmy if you really care, do everyone a favor and retire and leave the Sheriffing to someone else who really cares. It will be your worse nightmare when you see how many of us do not want you anymore. Remember your last election. An UNKNOWN with NO EFFORT, NO MONEY, and NO SUPPORT got 20% of the vote. Just think what is going to happen now. HARRISON WITH EFFORT, WITH MONEY AND WITH SUPPORT is going to do.

Sure you can fire all these deputies, as I am told you can, but just think, came the next day, ALL your connies will be looking for a job. But what do you care????? tick....tick....tick....tick

Just heard Mr. Harrison paid his filing fees, THANK GOD! This should prove to all that this man is serious about his run for Sheriff and is giving his all to accomplish it. Congrats and good luck!
