This lady is wrong for the job of U S Senate.
She wants a 40% tax hike. This is true and documented.
And she said her $675,000 catering bill was for box lunches for teachers.
Can you imagine what was in those boxes.
If she can spend that much on her lunches why can't our kids have free lunches too. Paid by the taxes she so willingly spends.

Forget the lunches. She is a politician, and if you dwell on the lunches, you are falling for the trick because you are not paying attention to more important things.
Her tenure as State Superintendent has been a colossal failure in every way in which it can be measured. Imagine my dismay when she was put up as some kind of prize candidate for the US Senate. (Well, considering the alternative, she may have been.)
Then again, as long as the State Superintendent is elected, you have to be a politician to get to be State Superintendent. Here's a cute story that not everybody knows. On the ETV-televized debate among candidates before the last election for State Superintendent, Inez's three opponents all had doctoral degrees. Now Inez herself is an attorney. A law degree is a doctoral degree (Juris Doctor, J.D.), but in this country, unlike some others, attorneys are not addressed as 'doctor'. So Inez insisted that on the televized debate that the others not be addressed as 'doctor' either. So they were not.
She is a politician. She is clearly not an educator.

I won't miss her when she's gone. I'm not sure her replacement will be any better.

It will be another politician. What can you expect?

I heard Moultrie today on WVOC, and while I like the fact that he's a Libertarian, I'm not convinced he could do all the things he said he'd do.
