Who cares? I CARE - he has a wife and children that deserve better than that - and I think it says alot about his character - why is he in a leadership position - didn't his wife make him leave the other solicitor's office because of this - I think its disgusting - THATS why

If his wife made him leave the other solicitors office, why didn't she make him stay home from the ti**y bar? Sounds like she knows what kind of person she married so if she deserves better, maybe she needs a reality check.

Funny...I was with that particular group that night and it wasn't near as wild as these posts suggest. It was about 8 people and they were celebrating a win in a murder case. They had a few drinks, laughed at the surroundings and went home. There was a female there that everyone picked on for being at the place, but nobody hooked up or even tried. Don't smear people if you don't know the facts. I agree those places are disgusting...and a waste of money. You can see worse on HBO.

the real question from the solicitor's office should be how did a county council members son manage to: work at the solicitors office after flunking the bar exam, never try a case in court during his 1 plus year tenure: get fired from a private law firm AND still get appointed a Magistrate position?????

Dayton is not "doing" anything to his family or anyone employed in the office. He is an outstanding father and husband who has put his wife's career before his own. he coaches his son's athletic teams, stays home when his children are ill so his wife does not miss court and is a first rate man. His wife is a wonderful woman who realizes the support she has in Dayton. in return she trusts him and realizes that idle gossip is just that. Furthermore, she is an intelligent, well educated woman who certainly has the ability to discern fact from fiction. Give her enough credit. If she thought for a minute these rumors were true, as a Family Court judge, she could run him in the ground financially and otherwise.
