From what I've heard, she did a pretty good job catching her prey, but in Moped Man's defense, A car or truck is alot harder to hide than a moped and i moped can get into places that a car cannot.
FloridaFan
10-10-2005, 06:45 PM
Well, yes, I must concede that moped's can go alot of places cars cant. ie. bushes..etc. I just wonder why Moped Man didnt jump out of the car and chase his prey down! LoL:chin:
bluelinebro
10-10-2005, 07:32 PM
I can't say for sure why he didn't. I don't know about you but i personally cannot run 20-30MPH and keep up with a moped. but you had a good point if the person he was chasing was on foot.
What is all this about a Moped?

rumor has it that an officer went 10-0 with a guy on a moped, and the moped got away after going into a back yard between alot of shrubbery. And the officer didn't think it would be a good idea to take out the bushes with the patrol car so he tried to cut him off at the next street but due to traffic he lost him. is that what you heard FF?

First of all, why does 610 need to ask these questions? Shouldnt that person already know? Unless they are just a "dream team wannabe"!! :loser:
I heard a similar version of this story. It seems that the officer (who shall remain nameless) *moped man* did'nt want to be next on the list of officers who have wrecked their cars! LoL:alright:
But, in moped man's defense I will have to say Crackheads on Mopeds with Trailor Park Teeth and Grocery Store Feet are EXTREMELY hard to apprehend. Especially when they are dodging in and out of skreets and crack houses.:pistols:
The only advice that I can offer to moped man is to talk to AG..she can help you out on trapping your prey and getting the best results possible! LoL :jive:

Don't flatter yourself. The only person that could fire me is me, and that ain't gonna happen.
I don't make statements based on emotion or opinion. They are easily disproven. I make objectional statements.
You CAN NOT argue with objectiveness, unless you are a fool.
I also realize that some folks know everything, and you can't convince them otherwise (and I wouldn't waste my time trying).
Don't take what you've HEARD and assume it's factual. That puts you into that group that argues with objectiveness.
I am simply an unbiased third party observer. If the spd wants to screw itself into a podunk pd, that's fine with me.
If they work themselves into a model department, good for them. I don't care either way.
I simply stated the truth with no spin. However, if you want to concern yourself with folks screwing one another, or screwing the town, keep listening, and you'll hear something. When you do, ask me about it, and I'll pull the particles of truth from your rumor, and tell you what REALLY occurred.

Swansea IS quite a fascinating place. I have a feeling a lot of the hits are coming from the people running Clinton's campaign for governor. Last I heard, there was an excellent possibility that the campaign headquaters was going to be stationed in the log cabin.

not sure.
Seems like it would have been natural, with a slug of whiskey. People were tougher back then, or maybe just dumber.

Slicker than a eel in a hog waller.
Actually the slickest thing you might run across in normal life (outside of a big laboratory) is ice on ice. There is very nearly a zero coefficient of friction.
So if you really want to have fun and the pond freezes solid this winter, tie some blocks of ice on your shoes and go skatin'.
CAUTION: Never do this unless you're absolutely sure the ice is thick enough. It rarely is around here.
cuebald
10-24-2005, 05:16 PM
It never gets that cold here. When I was in Oregon it got so cold one winter that if people went for a walk and slowed down too much, their shadows froze to the street and broke off.
A lot of kids made their spending money chipping them loose and selling them back to the owners.

Well, you see BLB,
Swansea is a small town. Small towns tend to harbor small minds, small penises, and chubby gals. I'm not from Swansea, but my family has had business relations there for about sixty years, so I've had the opportunity to see the little town grow.
Intelligence dictates that we embrace growth, nurture it, if you will.
With the absence of intelligence growth runs roughshod over you.
This has happened to Swansea.
Most of the folks making the least amount of sense on this thread are related in some manner or fashion to the SPD. Either they belong to it, or hang around it for a taste of authority.
It's quite apparent to everyone else what an ass these folks make of themselves on a daily basis.
Anonymity means nothing when you really think about it. people may not know exactly who the idiot is, but the idiot itself knows who it is.

Well it's like this, since you think you know everything. Swansea could have had a nice grocery store and several stores about 5 years ago but the former administration did not want that. Since the new administration has come in, the town has grown greatly in size and has several new businesses. So it appears to me, that there must be some intelligence there.
Now, I am not a member of the SPD. I know some of the people there, and it's a good group of people, trying to do their job. And as far as hanging around for authority, I don't need too.
So I bet if you look in the mirror, you will see the idiot ass.

Possum, I think that statement is unfair. Do you know anyone personally at the Police Department? For future reference, its important to park so people can actually see the lights. Idiots.

How pathetic is it that you cant find anything bad to say about the department other than how the truck was parked at the parade. Seems to me you are lacking knowledge in the area of Law Enforcement. Any time a vehicle is used to block a road like that...the lights have to be on, otherwise some dummy would have thought that it was free parking for the parade and pulled alongside. And, how about, next time you have a problem why not go up and ask why something is being done...instead of assuming. We all know what "Assuming" does! How about you let the Swansea Police worry about policing and blocking roads...and you worry about graphic design..or flipping hamburgers..or whatever it is you do!

I'll try to find a real cop, not some reseve, and ask them why the vehicle wasn't parked so the lights were clearly visible to people on the road. I'm sure there's some special reason.

So if that is not a "real cop" I would really like to know your definition. What is it that you have against this girl anyway? Has she ever done anything to make you mad? Well, QotD, you obviously have no credentials to make such a sheepish statement.
We can fix you right up, but you will need a few essential terms of leverage first.
-a judge that is related to you in some manner ( 1st cousin's stepson's uncle's neighbor will be just fine)
-money, and lots of it (you don't really need it, you just need to put up the facade. since you are anon., we'll never know)
-the illusion of an in depth knowledge of the judicial tenements in this state ( this isn't necessary either, since you don't use your real name)

Well allowaycar for starters, there where baracades setup all over the town. The police were there mainly to keep traffic from going around them. Of course the lights on all vehicles would be on, however they were parked. And if I am not mistaken, the truck was at Sugarbaker's and the Town Hall, with people all over the place. Don't think anyone could miss the damn truck or the baracades. Most Police vehicles don't have lights on the side? How the hell can you miss a blue light? Obviously you have a problem with the SPD and the officer in question. Why don't you and David Zeigler get together and really learn how to throw rocks at the Swansea Police Department.
