Does anyone have any information about Centex pulling out of the Columbia market? I read this somewhere. Another developer is buying Centex's new development on Corley Mill Road in Lexington. I was just curious why they were leaving this area.

I have a friend who worked there. The "big guys" came down and pretty much told them the SC market wasn't making as much profit as the other Centex markets across the US. It was a really hard decision, blah, blah, blah. Believe me, it was quite a shock to the employees!!
