Has anyone noticed how well Harrison has done at running a clean campaign? I read the article in the Penny Saver and in the Neighbors section. I noticed how he actually took the time to address the issues of the citizens.

Specifically did anyone note how when asked the question about what the most important crime was -- he stated "Every crime is important". It's important to address all crimes because at the time of a crime, that is the most important thing to the victim.

When Metts answered his questions it was "were looking into that". When Brazelle answered his questions, it was "I'll pray over it" or "I'll look into that when I get there".

Note that neither of those candidates really gave a productive response or for that matter a real answer to a very legit question.

Harrison has ran his campaign classy and has addressed questions with positive ideas and well thought out answers.

This again proves that he continues to work at being a quality candidate for Sheriff of Lexington County and he is also truly interested in being our Sheriff.

June 8th is right around the corner. Lets get the right man in office this time. HARRISON is the man for Sheriff of Lexington County.

He WANT'S TO BE OUR SHERIFF AND HE WILL BE THE PEOPLES SHERIFF!!

VOTE LARRY HARRISON FOR SHERIFF ON JUNE 8th. Make your vote count!

I AM SUPPORTING HARRISON BUT I THOUGHT IT MADE HIM LOOK BAD. THE NEIGHBORS SECTION WENT THROUGH THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE FOR ALL THREE CANDIDATES. NEXT TO METTS IT SAID "SHERIFF SINCE 1972". NEXT TO BRAZELLE AND HARRISON IT SAID "NONE".

I AM GETTING A BAD FEELING ABOUT HARRISON IN THE RACE. THIS MAY NOT BE HIS TIME. HE MAY NEED TO GET MORE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. BEING A NARCOTICS SUPERVISOR AND A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER MAY NOT BE ENOUGH TO RUN A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

I REALLY HATE TO SAY THAT BUT SOME OF HIS FRIENDS NEED TO BE HIS FRIEND AND TELL IM THAT. MAYBE I WILL.

NICE TRY, the question was HOW MUCH POLITICAL EXPERIENCE! Metts fans trying to spin again, come on boys.................tick...tick...tick...tick... :butthead: You are right about one thing, Metts has been a politician since 1972 and has done everything he can to advance his POLITICAL career, unfortunately at the cost of the public!

I AM DEFINITELY NOT A METTS FAN. I TOLD YOU I AM GOING TO VOTE FOR LARRY. I AM JUST VOICING MY CONCERNS. AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. SEVERAL OF HIS CLOSEST SUPPORTERS ARE TALKING BEHIND HIS BACK AND TELLING HIM TO HIS FACE THAT HE IS QUALIFIED AND TELLING OTHERS THAT HE ISN'T. SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE PROBABLY ON HERE.

METTS IS NOT THE MAN FOR THE JOB. I JUST THINK LARRY MAY NOT BE READY SINCE HE HAS NO MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. IF HE BECOMES SHERIFF, THINGS MAY GET SCREWED UP. NOT BECAUSE HE ISN'T A GOOD COP BECAUSE HE IS A GREAT COP. RATHER THAN SEE HIM AS A ONE TERM SHERIFF, HE SHOULD GET SOME MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE OR TRY AND BECOME A CHIEF IN A SMALLER CITY BEFORE TRYING TO TAKE ON A HUGE DEPARTMENT. IF ANYONE WAS HIS FRIEND THEY WOULD TELL HIM THAT. ASK LEON LOTT. HE WAS A NARCOTICS SUPERVISOR TOO BUT HAD NO MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. HE BECAME POLICE CHIEF OF A SMALL TOWN ST. MATTHEWS, GOT SOME MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AND IS NOW A GOOD SHERIFF.

LARRY SHOULD PROBABLY DO THE SAME. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM ONE DAY BECOME SHERIFF AND STAY SHERIFF. I'M GOING TO TALK TO HIM THIS WEEK. IF SOME OF YOU WERE REALLY LARRY'S FRIEND, YOU WOULD TELL HIM TO.

METTS DIDN'T HAVE ALOT OF EXPERIENCE IN 1972 BUT THE DEPARTMENT WAS ONLY 10 PEOPLE. NOW IT IS LIKE 600. ALOT HAS CHANGED IN 30 YEARS. LARRY SHOULD MAYBE START WITH A 10 MAN DEPARTMENT THEN WORK UP TO A LARGER ONE.

IM NOT WRITING NO MORE ON HERE. I SAID MY PIECE.

Naughty Spice, that would be Metts at the Southern Gentlemens Club that you are talking about! Hey, is Metts still a "silent partner" in that deal? He really needs to get his business partners to stop running their mouth so much about their "arrangements"!

HOW MUCH MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE DID LEON LOTT HAVE BEFORE HE BOOTED THE SHERIFF OUT OF OFFICE WHO FIRED HIM? SOME PEOPLE MAY BE SURPRISED COME JUNE 8TH. METTS IS SO CONFIDENT THAT HE IS GOING TO WIN THAT HE IS ALREADY INVITING CERTAIN PEOPLE TO JOIN HIM AT MURRAY'S BAR TO WATCH THE NUMBERS COME IN. HOPE HE DOESN'T CHOKE ON A CHICKEN WING. THAT'S RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN. I GUESS THE REAL PARTY WILL BE LATER.....

Leon Lott left the Richland County Sheriff's Department and became the Chief of St. Matthews Police Department. While at this 10 man department he did great things while getting the experience he needed to be an executive manager.

What kind of executive management experience does Harrison or Brazelle have? ANSWER: NONE.

Did anyone check out the State News Editorial Page today (Saturday)? It seems that after interviewing the three candidates, looking at their accomplishments, and their shortcomings, the editorial board and The State Newspaper endorsed Sheriff Metts. Check it out for yourself.

I believe the title is:

"METTS BEST GOP CHOICE TO SERVE AS LEXINGTON SHERIFF".

tick...tick...tock

Sorry, couldn't resist. That was childish and I sincerely beg for forgiveness. But all of you deserve to eat crow for Jimmy's entire next term for some of the things you have said. Have fun.
